Page&Ribbon

Common questions

The practical things, answered simply.

You should know what you are making, what you are paying for, and what happens to the gift after the moment has been shared.

01What is Page & Ribbon?

A guided creative service for turning your photos, words, videos, and voice into a personal digital gift page.

02Do I need to know how to build a website?

No. Choose a design and personalize it using the controls inside the studio. Page & Ribbon handles the page, unique sharing link, and hosting.

03Do I need an account before I can try it?

No. You can customize the real design, add up to four compressed preview photos, and open the full recipient preview first. That temporary work stays only in the same browser and expires after 24 hours without use. Create a verified account only when you want to keep it in your private studio, add the full media set, buy, or publish.

04Can I see the whole gift before paying?

Yes. Build and preview the complete experience first. Payment unlocks publication and the link you can share.

05What can I add?

Each gift supports up to 50 photos, 5 supported videos, 1 original voice note, a 20,000-character letter, and 2–4 personal questions. Individual files also have size and format limits shown before upload.

06How long does the published gift stay open?

For 90 days beginning the first time you publish it. Page & Ribbon does not promise lifetime hosting.

07Is the link private?

The page is unlisted, excluded from Page & Ribbon’s public pages, and marked for search engines not to index. You can add a 4–8 digit recipient PIN and can replace or close the link. Share the PIN separately; anyone who can open the gift can still copy or forward what their device displays.

08Can I edit it after publishing?

Yes. During the 90-day period, you can keep editing the gift from your studio. The same link and original expiration date remain in place.

09Can I keep an offline copy?

Yes. After purchase, confirm your password to download a ZIP containing the interactive gift and its uploaded media. Extract it and run it with a normal localhost static server; once downloaded, that copy is protected by your device rather than your Page & Ribbon account.

10Can the person opening it save or copy things?

A browser can take screenshots, record a screen, download accessible media, or forward a link. No website can fully prevent copies made on another person’s device.

11Can I upload a song?

Only upload audio you created or have permission to use. Buying or streaming a song does not normally give permission to republish it on a gift page.

12Who owns what I upload?

You keep ownership of your content. Page & Ribbon needs only the limited permission required to store, process, display, and deliver your gift as described in the Terms and Privacy Policy.

13What happens after 90 days?

The shared link stops opening the gift, but the private gift remains in your account so you can revisit and edit it. It is not lifetime public hosting, and you can ask us to delete a gift or close the account.

14How much does one gift cost?

The base price is US $39 one time. Applicable customer tax is calculated and shown before payment. There is no subscription.

15How are payments handled?

Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record and handles checkout, applicable sales tax, the financial receipt, refunds, and chargebacks. Cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay appear when supported by the customer’s device and location. Page & Ribbon receives only the order details needed to confirm access and does not receive the full card number or private gift media.

16Can I cancel or ask for a refund?

Yes. Our additional promise is a full refund within 14 days if the gift has not been published or downloaded offline. Mandatory local rights still apply, and the online contact form records cancellation and refund requests immediately.

17How do I make a privacy or accessibility request?

Use the contact form and choose the matching topic. It gives you a request reference as soon as the message is safely recorded.
